I have to say sorry to all the couples that have called for bookings, I"m currently off to Taman Negara, doing a familiar show on TV but its for India's viewer. Anyways I'll keep the blog going by doing snippets of the rain forest and the people I'm working for but sorry no snippets of the show, contract rules.

Will be back in September, can't wait to do more videos for newly weds. Once again i'm sorry for those i can't do, love stories are once in our life. KIKERSMEDIA is very well active though. Doing more photo projects than before.

Lovister & Lisa Wedding

Lisa called me through an introduction of a friend. After a few calls arrangement we finally met up to discuss the concept of their wedding video, and to my surprise her husband to be is a long lost friend, Lovister. Its been more than 10 years haven't meet with him and his family, and like me, due to the wedding his family was surprise meeting up with me.

Attending and shooting for this video is like going to a very close family wedding. it was nice lots of laughter with each others family and it was personal within each other as if i'm one of the family. I enjoiyed doing their video and its quite fun interviewing them. Remember whatever you say about your partner is important and being random comes from the heart. All the best to both of you, congratulation and remember there is no reason to love each other, you just do. Cheers. Love you guys.

Yup, its been a while since i updated this blogof mine, busy-busy-busy, wondering off. Hahahaha, anyways everytime a visit to the bank i will stop by at a friends tattoo parlour, Jesselton Tattoo and Body Piercing. Its always a laugh and 'sentimental' moment whenever visiting Pip and Luther. Whenever i'm around i might just to be lucky to meet some people get tattooed, especially the moment when a big guy entered the shop and wanted to be tapped!

Heikal and Dimple's Wedding Highlights

I'm glad to introduce you to another wonderful newly-weds, Heikal and Dimple. I'm never bored in their company, there's always joke to laugh at, there's always an inspirational story to tell if just something to chat about. There's something about them that makes any wedding day so special, and the reason why most single people out there want to get married. I'm being sentimental and all but you know what, you can't blame me cos, if you really pay attention on wedding days you'll always find that moment, for instants without looking we find teardrops and not only from the bride and groom but from people around them. While editing this wedding video I found a few people wiping off their teardrops, that just show that there's to much of love in Heikal and Dimple's wedding.

Well, Heikal and Dimple took the total package for all three days of their wedding ceremony and reception. It was a big wedding indeed and yes I admit I can't cover it alone "I'm no superman", with this I set up a team, including the loyal members of KIKERSMEDIA (Razali and Ronney), Bryan Kouju (sabah wedding videographer) and up-coming videographer Wallerstein (my prodigy,ehem). Together, we pull wires, tape the floor, sweat and carry heavy loads, run around like mad cows, argue but at the end of the day we manage to set-up a live telecast of the wedding ceremony on all three days, we delivered the best...kaboom! Rumah Hitam - First Promo

The past few days been busy editing on a local story called Rumah Hitam, which is created by Ela Sabah. If some of you guys out there still asking, yes, i came back to Sabah to be an editor, full time video editor. Recently committed to AviCraft Production.

Rumah Hitam - Well i posted this up just to acknowledge that there are a lot of Sabahan who has lots of talent, ideas and can tell good stories but lack of technical support once it comes to producing it on screen. The process of making this local movie is a combination of a person who can write but can't shoot, a person who can shoot but can't write, a person who can dance but can't sing and a person who in his word can be a little humble and make some simple things looks a bit better. I like the challenge of editing this and there's no better enjoyment than sitting down with Rashid (Cameraman) everyday arguing about how the transition should be. I also want to stop the mindset of thinking "as long as it sells" translating it to Malay "Janji boleh jual" thats been the mindset of some local ignorant "production" people around this state of ours but i guess that's the situation around here.

Anyways, checkout Rumah Hitam when it comes out. Hopefully the quality is better, if not, we'll be better next time..

Made-up Candid Moments: Benoni Shuffle

When I pass Hadi his wedding DVD's he asked me "Did you include the kid shuffling inside?". I said "What?" "Got kah?" - in Sabah-layu language lah. When i checked back the tapes last nite, I was amazed and a bit humored at what i saw.

Apparently, while i was taking a break and enjoying some kulintangan outside, one of my friend Nold (he's a teacher and a proud new-ly Nikon owner)took the camera and shot some kids, well actually asked some kids to dance for him. Shuffle to be exact. We told Hadi we'd get the moment for him but this one is just made-up candid moment. Enjoy.

Hadi and Azurt's wedding Highlights

After a busy month of March, i finally have time to post Hadi and Azurt wedding video highlights up my blogspot. The wedding was months ago, but i still feel like it was yesterday, maybe it was because how busy i was covering their wedding. Their family have done so much just to show that they love their son and daughter. Friends also helped out filling up invitation cards in the middle of the night.

Well, Hadi and Azurt is a good friend and it was touching to see his family cried when he got married. Well, i hope i can catch him weeping (again) when he watch his video again and again. Congrats and all the best, Bos!

The members of this site own Ebbsfleet United which play in the Blue Square Premier, which is four divisions below the Premiership. Well, its a small club lah. Here's what i got from their site

GDA+, finally finished!!... Almost

For the past few months I’ve been producing, writing, directing and shooting a local Vietnamese show, titled Gia Dinh A+ (if not mistaken it means Happy Family A+). Well, yeah it’s a big move from Channel [V] to doing a family based show, but production is still production no matter what content.

Briefly, the show is about family bringing and health. The contents include how to make, deliver and take care of a baby. One of my favorite content is how to keep the romance alive during pregnancy, ehem! Production is done but now it’s up to our editors to deliver how I pictured it. 15 episodes have been out already and I’m happy with the satisfaction ratings, hopefully the rest turn out better. The biggest achievement for this production is we only used Sony HDD DCR small camcoders. No betacam, No PD cam, No film.

The funny thing about producing this maggazine show was, its all in vietnamese non-english, and i don't even know a single word besides, thank you that is cam'on!

Back in Saigon!!

After months of shooting and sleepless nights doing production, I thought I should head back home to ‘rejuvenate’ myself, home sweet home. Well that was that and I had my own kind of blasting fun at home, but now I’m back in Saigon already and within hours of touchdown, my newest projects has been listed down already. It’s exciting but more sleepless nites, hahahaha. No complaints here.

Vietnam War Zippo Lighters

Recently i had a chance to out around Ho Chi Minh City, didn't really go into those air-cond shopping complexes and the biggest one if not mistaken its Parkson. If you the type of person who wants to feel safe and those who travel far and wide just to shop at another shopping complexes, be my guess. Just be careful of imitations, checkout where its made, be original, talking about original, i got CHEATED! Hahahaha, checkout the Zippo's lighter down below, i remember it was kinda-real when i saw it.

These lighters cost around USD1.50 to USD 2.00.

Besides having the date carved on the lighters head, theres writing on it check this one.

Singapore Eye

Indie film festival, ended months ago but because I feel I didn’t really fulfill the chance to enjoy the places we went mostly for shoot, feel like writing that small visiting experience of it. Probably it was because of work, run here and there, shoot this and that, so the time of enjoyment is just a small amount of time, simply like just sit down and feel the breeze on my sweaty face. It’s all about the smallest things that make you happy.

Singapore trip this time wasn’t all about the film festivity, to think of it, we didn’t do that much coverage if it was compared between the DJ AsiaNation, Zoukout, and the Hoobastank (sucks) that I went for. This time it was more relaxing because we had a chance to visit places I wish I had time to go to every time I drop to Singapore. My favorite place has to be the time I went to Singapore Eye (The Eye of Singapore).

The sight was amazing, actually recently I’ve notice that I’m scared of heights. Maybe my balls shrunk cos last time climbing high places was a fun task for me.

The view was nice though, I gotta see the floating football field… what?

Besides that got a chance to see some naked action going on, got a chance to visit Singapore Art museum and at the entrance there was this… well naked dude, who turned pinkish-reddish-purplish color cos people saw how small his ‘charlie’ is…

Hendry Boy (Photographer)

You might be wondering who the guy is, this is Boy, to be exact we call him Hendry from Tawau. Why in the earthly being would I write bout this fella, well first of all he’s a prospect, lets just say he’ll be one damn good photographer one day. Without being shy of who he is or where he’s from he’ll do even the cheapest and smallest projects just to improve, technically improving and a little help from movies and magazine this composition mix is rated good, high expectation hey Boy?

Besides doing his own wedding ceremony shoots, I’ve introduce him to some people to shoot for other events, LUSH (a dance party event), the next day a STAR TV rep approach me and ask him to shoot for the American Idol campaign and promotion event, but I had to reject cos lets just say he’ll get crushed. Sorry Boy. After that he’s off to a great flow, where weekly he gets call to shoot for events. The best one I heard was a Gay Party, I’ve seen the photos and it was great, ahaks!

Well anyone can be who they want to be but how you get there is interesting, I’m more impressed with personalities rather than looks. This dude has one very flamboyant determination, if he sees something interesting he’ll be there, and he always wants to improve. One day man! One day. when i was young my teacher ask me what i wanted to be when i grow up, she ask me to choose three, first choice was always influence by the family, being a teacher is a family tradition among us, so i listed thats number one, second i wanted to be a firemen, i guess it because i like to play with fire's, i get excited when i see something burning, its a random excitement, lastly the las occupation i listed was a soldier, totally dominated by the childish influence of Rambo!
